Welcome to US Landline. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our landline phone services and website. By signing up for our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully. They contain important information about your rights and obligations, including limitations on our liability and requirements for resolving disputes.
1. Service Description
US Landline provides Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) landline phone services that allow you to make and receive calls using your internet connection. Our services include:
- Unlimited local and nationwide calling within the United States and Canada
- Enhanced 911 (E911) emergency services
- Voicemail and call management features
- Mobile app for iOS and Android devices
- Customer support and technical assistance
2. Eligibility and Account Registration
Eligibility Requirements
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Have a reliable broadband internet connection
- Reside in an area where our services are available
Account Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account information
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Keeping your contact and billing information current
3. Service Plans and Pricing
Monthly Service Fee
Our standard service plan is $24.99 per month, which includes:
- Unlimited calling within the US and Canada
- All standard features and functionality
- Customer support access
- Mobile app usage
Additional Charges
Additional charges may apply for:
- International calling (rates vary by destination)
- Premium features or add-on services
- Hardware replacement (if damaged by customer)
- Expedited shipping of equipment
Billing and Payment
- Service fees are billed monthly in advance
- Payment is due on your monthly billing date
- We accept major credit cards and ACH payments
- Late payments may result in service suspension
4. Equipment and Technical Requirements
Internet Connection
You must maintain a broadband internet connection with:
- Minimum upload speed of 100 kbps per concurrent call
- Stable connection with low latency and packet loss
- Sufficient bandwidth for your calling needs
Equipment
- We provide the necessary VoIP adapter at no additional cost
- You may use your existing telephone equipment
- Equipment remains our property and must be returned upon service termination
- You are responsible for equipment damage due to misuse or negligence
5. Acceptable Use Policy
Permitted Uses
Our services are intended for normal residential and small business communications.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use our services for:
- Illegal activities or violations of applicable laws
- Harassment, threats, or abusive communications
- Spam, robocalls, or unsolicited commercial communications
- Excessive usage that impacts network performance
- Reselling or redistributing our services
- Bypassing or attempting to bypass security measures
Enforcement
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate service for violations of this policy without prior notice.
6. Emergency Services (911)
Important 911 Information:
Our E911 service has limitations compared to traditional landline 911 service. Please read this section carefully.
E911 Service
- We provide Enhanced 911 service that transmits your registered address to emergency operators
- You must register and maintain accurate address information
- Service may not work during power outages or internet disruptions
- Emergency calls may take longer to connect than traditional 911 service
Your Responsibilities
- Keep your registered address current and accurate
- Inform household members and guests about service limitations
- Have alternative means of contacting emergency services
- Test your service periodically to ensure proper operation
Limitations and Disclaimers
- 911 service requires power and internet connectivity
- Service may not work if you move your equipment to a different location
- We cannot guarantee 911 service availability at all times
- You assume all risks associated with these limitations
7. Service Availability and Performance
Service Levels
While we strive to provide reliable service, we do not guarantee:
- 100% uptime or uninterrupted service
- Specific call quality or connection speeds
- Compatibility with all internet service providers
- Service during power outages or internet disruptions
Maintenance and Updates
- We may perform scheduled maintenance that temporarily affects service
- We will provide advance notice when possible
- Emergency maintenance may be performed without notice
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Call Records
- We maintain call detail records as required by law
- Records may be used for billing, customer service, and legal compliance
- We do not record or monitor call content without your consent
9. Termination
Termination by You
- You may cancel service at any time without penalty
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle
- No refunds for partial months of service
- You must return our equipment within 30 days
Termination by Us
We may terminate your service for:
- Non-payment of fees
- Violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
- Discontinuation of service in your area
Effect of Termination
- Your right to use our services immediately ceases
- You remain liable for all charges incurred before termination
- We may delete your account data after a reasonable period
- Number portability may be available subject to applicable regulations
10. Limitation of Liability

Our liability to you is limited as described below. Please read this section carefully.
Service Credits
For service outages lasting more than 24 hours, we may provide service credits equal to a pro-rated portion of your monthly fee.
Limitation of Damages
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for service in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- We are not liable for damages related to 911 service limitations
- We are not liable for damages caused by third-party internet service providers
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of our services
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of applicable laws
- Your infringement of third-party rights
12. Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution
Before filing any legal action, you agree to contact us to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
Binding Arbitration
Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except for:
- Small claims court actions
- Injunctive relief requests
- Intellectual property disputes
Class Action Waiver
You agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis and waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state where our principal place of business is located, without regard to conflict of law principles.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Assignment
We may assign these Terms or our rights and obligations without your consent. You may not assign your rights without our written consent.
Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
